The ESDO General Assembly consists of all ordinary members, corporate members and honorary members and meets once a year at UEG Week. Its functions and responsibilities are:

• to receive an annual report of the Governing Board
• to approve ordinary membership fees
• to elect the Governing Board members and the Councillors of the Advisory Board
• to appoint two Auditors
• to appoint one standard member of the Court of Arbitration
• to implement the dissolution of the Society
• the exclusion of members
